I've seen pics of that skimmer. You'd have to disconnect the skimmer from its drain hose and hook the vacuum to it. Or you can get a garden-hose vacuum that blows the dirt into a catch-bag. There are a few out there--I know Biogard still makes one--I saw it Saturday. Black Magic also makes one....they are similar in concept to the hose-driven leaf-vacuums.
When I had my Intex I had to creatively invent a way to hook a suction vacuum to the filter. I used a 3/4" double-female Schedule 40 adapter as the go-between. I clamped it into an 18' length of 1.25" corrogated pool hose, attached the hose to the vacuum, and plugged the Schedule 40 into the drain. The sizes were right and it worked nicely. Not the strongest vacuum but the filter caught stuff the catch-bag couldnt.
