Default New inter 16x48 owner with swsg

    Hi,

I'm in south Texas with hard water issues. Of course, with that I have high PH levels and I'm trying to get things up and running with the new swsg system attached. Calcium deposits are stacking up in only a week's use.

    Help!!!!!!

You'll need to post accurate test results -- and that probably means you'll need to purchase a Taylor K2006 or 2006C (3x the # of test for 35% more $$) -- see Amazon links in my signature.

    Meanwhile you should:
#1 - Turn off your SWCG
#2 - Use bleach or trichlor in floaters for chlolrination
#3 - Add some acid to get your pH below 7.6 (but above 6.8).
