There have been lots of happy Intex pool owners, but . . .

#1 - Because of the undersized filters, and (usually) the lack of a skimmer, the pools are very hard to clean up, if you get algae or let the chlorine get low.
#2 - I do not recommend the current Intex salt system, because it's a salt chlorinator PLUS copper. Copper does prevent algae, but it also stains light blonde and gray hair green. Use a tablet floater instead -- it's both easier and cheaper.
#3 - If you've got well water, TEST YOUR WELL WATER . . . or whatever water you will fill with . . . FIRST. Then post results here, and let us help you work out a plan BEFORE you start filling. This is particularly important if you have metals in your well water, or use a softener.
