Generally, you'll need a fixture like the one you are replacing; the light niche is not normally replaceable without a huge amount of work.
Hi,
I have a concrete inground pool built in early 1980's and my light fixture is malfunctioning due primarily to age...It is corroded.
My light casing is 8 1/4inch in diameter and 10inches deep. I am looking for a similar fixture that will fit in there...anybody has an idea?
I could potentially purchase a bigger one but I would like to know how you to increase the size of the opening (remember it's concrete!) and do a pretty good job...Most new light fixture are over 10 inches so I would need to extend the hole by at least an inch on each side...
Let me know
Mo
