I have a 24ft above ground pool with a beaded liner. THis is our second season. All was well last year until fall. When I closed the pool, the liner came loose in 2-3 different areas. I fixed it by heating it and stretched it.
When the pool is full there is no problem. I am worried that this fall will be a repeat of last year. I physically cannot deal with that every fall. I have read about installing bead lock which I think I am going to do. However, there are 2 sections (each about 3-4 inches long) where the liner is somewhat stretched out out the groove. It is not out but is sagging out of the track (but still attached). I could post a picture but the forum will not let me ad pics. I can stretch the bead back in place but it falls right back.
ANy ideas of how to fix the sagging areas of the bead? Once I get that fixed, I think I will be OK to use the bead lock.

Have you read this thread? It's got my tips & tricks for beaded liners. It looks like you tried a penny to act as a wedge to keep it in, maybe up it to a nickel or 2 pennies, or some combination of pennies, nickels and dimes to keep the bead in the track.
If you have any questions on what i said, just give a holler![]()
