Once pump is on, Kreepy Krauly won't move without a quick tug

Thanks for the advice. There aren't any wheels on a Kreepy so I'm still trying to figure this one out.

Have you backwashed your filter? When my filter pressure gets too high, my cleaner gets kinda lazy and doesn't move as well.

A year later, Kreepy is doing the same thing. We backwash normally and have replaced the flapper valve and starfish seal, still no progress. Every morning we go out and give it a tug after the pump has turned on...its quite annoying but I guess we'll have to deal with it until we decide to repurpose our pump for a Polaris.
