Mesh cover for above ground pool

I tried the leaf net. Once...two years ago. It ended up getting so overloaded with water-logged leaves and
debris that it was impossible to remove without dumping most of the stuff back into the pool. It seems like
it would only be useful if I wanted to empty it every day or so or if it was on top of some other cover that
kept the leaves out of the water. I have the same issue with tree litter twice a year - right now I seem to be
on the tail end of the Spring season shedding.

Unless you want to take down the trees, I'm not sure what else you can do. With IG pools, people sometimes install hard, retractable covers. Very expensive. And sooner, or later, you have to clean off the leaves and debris.

Thanks for all the input, I think im going to just tough it out and hold off on the cover. Currently working on building a deck up to the pool, should be done by the end of summer...maybe, haha. For now the tree can stay, but if it keeps lashing out on me...who knows, it maybe time to put her down. Well again, thanks for all the replies.
