Cheapest I can get is $1.28 at Walmart.

I am wondering if it is ok to use ultra bleach in the pool. There is more and more of it and getting harder to find regular bleach. Thanks
Ultra is 6% and regular bleach is 5.25%. You can do the math based upon pricing in your area, but the Ultra is a better deal here!Quote:

Just to make things more confusing, Clorox Regular bleach is now 6% (at least where I live). But it does seem that other brands have Regular at 5.25% and some even lower while their Ultra is 6%. When possible, see if the percentage is on the bottle and always use unscented when using bleach.

That's a great price. I always use wal-mart ultra bleach, and it's $1.28 around here too.
The Wal Mart is $1.28 here as well. I stopped into Aldi (I had never been in one before but know they have Wal Mart "fits" in Germany) and wham saw the .99 display. Costco runs about $1.20.Quote:

For any of you with Food City's in your area, their Supreme Bleach (store brand) 6% is on sale for 5 for $5.00, no limit with valuecard. I stocked up today and will probably go back for more.
I'm in North Carolina and also get mine at Aldi's for 99 cents for 3/4 gal. The Wal-Mart jugs in my area are a full gallon for $1.28 so are the same price as Aldi's. I like the 3/4 gal jugs for my 40K gal pool since 1 bottle raises Cl 1ppm...Easy math!

I'm surprised that your Walmart sells gallon jugs for $1.28. Where I live, Walmart sells their 3/4 gallon jugs for that exact same price.
