By the way, I guess they won't have to remobilize the coping and tile guy next week.
The boys over at Noble Tile must have pulled a rabbit out of the hat.
Thanks a lot. I'm happy with the way it's turned out so far.
Actually, just the coping came from Noble. This is National Pool Tile Group tile.
The tile selection is reason 35,764,541,543,241,574 to listen to the wife when it comes to aesthetic decisions. I probably would have picked a slightly lighter blue tile. In retrospect, I think hers was the better choice.
The decking guys were hot to pour the deck today, but the builder pulled the reins in on them. He won't be able to get out there until this afternoon to do a pre-pour inspection of what they've done so far, so he's going to reschedule the pour for Tuesday or Wednesday.
In the meantime, they have a little replumbing to do. When the plumbers plumbed around the equipment, they didn't have the salt cell, so they left a spool piece for it. Unfortunately, the foreman told them to put that in the wrong place in the flow path. So, they have to re-do the plumbing downstream of the heater.
Also, they still need to complete their pressure test.
Plenty to keep them busy for the next two to three days.
