Re: Plug? Strong suction leak in liner.
Thanks, Connie;
Check back later today -- I just grabbed those photos and will slice and dice them to make some of the aspects of what you encountered clearer to future readers..
Regarding moderation, it's been a necessary evil. Now that things are beginning to slow down, I've already begun work on a major overhaul of my firewall, and installation of a vBulletin mod (BadBehavior) that will allow me to loosen some of those restrictions. Ironically, we *still* may not be able to do so. My mods and I were close to our limit as it was, responding to posts. If I'd fully opened the doors we would have been overwhelmed. The result would likely have been unsatisfactory to all.
Not sure where we'll end up on all that.
Re: Plug? Strong suction leak in liner.
Hey Connie, glad to have tried to help you.
I hadn't realized that your hopper was trashed. A new liner and a LOT of bottom work are in order:) But DO address the water issue first with a well point!
If you really want to help anyone else who has this issue, please tell us how you end up resolving the issue. :) (the drain plug is not a permanent fix - the base will continue to wash out and the plug will just wash out under the liner.)
