Default Super Vision IGP231 Led Light

Just wanted to share my frustration with Super Vision, the makers of really nice color-changing LED lighs for the pool.
    THE GOOD:
This light transforms your pool into a light show. Installation is simple, no different from other pool lights, and operation is pretty simple - toggle light switch to change color modes.

    THE BAD:
Light stopped working 3 months after installation. Not just few LED burned out, but the entire light is broken. No, it did not get wet, and wiring is correct (replacement light works fine).

    THE UGLY:
Company denied my warranty claim - replacement for one year from the original purchase - based on some bogus excuse that store where I bought the light is not covered under their warranty.
My further questions of why claim was denied was unanswered at all.

    BOTTOM LINE:
I will not buy $350 light from a company that does not honor it's warranty.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Thanks for letting us know.

I was originally looking at the same light but I got nervous when I never got a reply to my e-mail questions. There were other reasons I went with the SAM lights - but I always get concerned when the sales side of the business is slow to respond as I assume the service/warranty side will be even worse.

I have 120v Supervision LED lights on both my pool and spa. Overall, I am satisfied. I would count the switch-to-toggle color mechanism as a slight negative - I would much rather it remember the last color because I can't control the color I want from my Jandy RS box.

At first, I counted the low light output as a negative, but I am getting accustomed to it and now actually prefer the soft light.

I bought one of mine on ebay from a retailer and one from another etailer. I would probably run into the same warranty run-around (if I ever get to that point). But, I live in the Orlando area so I would camp out Svision's doorstep until I was satisfied.
