Yes I have had a solar attic heater on my pool for 6 years. Great unit. Took me two weekends to install it. Its like a giant car radiator that sucks the heat out of your attic. I have a homeowners association and I couldnt use solar panels on the roof so this works well. I actually down sized my house airconditoner when i replaced it last year as my air doesnt run that much as the attic is so cool. I have a large pool 36500 gallons and it keeps my pool around 85 degrees. I live in pennsylvania so it extends my swimming season a couple of months. Im usually the first to swim in my neighborhood. I have a gas heater for my spa and the solar attic for my pool. On a good day with the outside temp around 80 my pool temp will rise 6 to 8 degrees. In the winter i blow it out with a leaf blower and wrap it with pipe freeze tape . Takes about an hour to winterize it. Built like a tank . The only thing to get use to is your pumping all your pool water from your pump to your attic and back to your pool. There is a safty feature that turns the solar heater off if it leaks. Winterizing it well is important.... the leaf blower does the trick. Blows all the water out of it. Ive had nothing but good luck with it. Steve
