Hi: I have been a long time reader of the forum. Only posted a few times due to all of the great information in the archieves. I have recently moved to a different home in Florida with a pool and have the following test results. I have a question on the Calcium test. Seems very high. The regents for the Calcium test are about 2 years old. Kept inside the house. The previous pool owner left 1 gal. jugs of Pool Time Algicide 10% (dimethtl benzyl ammonium chloride) and packets of powdered "Pool Shock". I guess that explains the high CYA . Can this Cal test be accurate?
Thanks!
