Default Stains on the steps entering pool, help!

open the pool a few days ago and everythings crystal clear now except for the steps, they are fiberglass and are 4x8 with 4 steps entering in the shallow end. Problem is they are stained I believe from leaves getting under the cover and laying on them, its more like a yellowish discoloration. Any ideas on what to use to get rid of the stains would be helpful.
    Thanks, Joey

Joey -- take a look at the stickied thread about stain removal at the top of this forum. In it, Marie explains how to take care of stains in your pool. Then, if you have additional questions that aren't answered in that thread, you can repost. Good luck!

To find out if they are mineral (metals) or organic, you can take some vitamin C tablets and crush them up in a sock and rub on the stain. If the stain lightens up it is a mineral stain. If they don't lift, then it is organic and it will lift with consistent use of chlorine. Let us know how you make out with the test
