    Default Happy Bottom Review

I thought I would post my thoughts on the Happy Bottom pool floor.

First, you need a VERY calm day to put the bottom together. When we bought it to fit our 27" AG pool, we thought it would just be in sheets and we would have to cut it to size. We were THRILLED to find that it was already circular in shape. All we had to do was tape the pieces together. It's VERY lightweight and a slight breeze could blow it away so be prepared. We found the driveway to be the best place to put it together rather than the yard. A firm surface is best. After you have it taped together, flip it over (tape down) and roll it up so that when you unroll it in the pool, it will be tape side down.

Our HB came with a roll of Seam Tape. We didn't know that and bought a roll which turned out to be nothing but duct tape (an $18 roll of duct tape - geez!) so be sure to ask before you buy a roll of Seam Tape to see if it is included.

We fixed a few things in the sand that we had in the pool (filled footprints, removed rocks, etc.). Our pool installer had used sand as coving (hated it) so we dug that out and laid the nice coving. It was so easy! Peel-n-Stick! Love it!

Because the HB is a little slick, it made pulling out wrinkles out the liner very easy.

The floor is SO nice! I have only been in the pool with 10 inches of water in it and it feels like memory foam. I can't wait to try it with a full pool!

I highly recommend HB! We purchased ours from www.intheswim.com and they were great to work with too. We bought the HB and (22) pieces of coving for under $450 with a promotion code I found online.
