If your percentage is set to anything but 100, your cell light is going to be off according to the percentage. If it is set for 60% the cell light will be off for 40% of it's run time.

I was wondering which product (dry acid - sodium bisulfate? muriatic acid?), how much is being added and what test you're using to determine this? Dry acid is usually contraindicated for pools chlorinated with a SWG; muriatic acid won't increase sulfates. What test kit/meter/strip is being employed to measure pH? In my pool, there is a rather constant acid demand -- not atypical for SWG pools -- however, a cup or two of 31.45% muriatic acid a week (for my 14K gallon pool) keeps the pH below 8.0. Recommend posting Total Alkalinity (TA) and pH numbers for more feedback.
