Default Vinyl liner installation into concrete pool

When a vinyl liner is installed into a concrete pool, how large should the coves be? (the radius)both vertical and horizontal (ie., the corners and bottom). Ie., How snug should the liner be at these 90 degree areas?

Cool Re: Vinyl liner installation into concrete pool

    Welcome to the forum!

There isn't a stock answer for your question

The pool should be measured and the liner made to fit your pool.

I'm sorry not to be able to fully answer your question, but - if you give me a little more info on your pool and what your specific concerns are, I'll get back to you within a few days (it's a very! busy week for pool dudes and I'll probably be working til dark most days this week )

Pool Dude, thanks for taking the time to read my "problem". I've attempted to "draw" the pool below. Very rough outline.

Facts: 16' x 32' concrete inground. Shallow end is 3' going down to 8' deep end.
All corners, horizontal and vertical are 90 degs. Had a vinyl liner installed and the liner does not fit into the 90 deg (L) areas.. I was told the liner could/should not be made to fit the 90 deg "corners". All corners (vertical, horizontal, angling) are coves which are about 6" radius. Like this (
Is this correct, or could/should the liner fit snug into all the 90 deg. areas?

    Pool Dude,
What I drew did not come out on the screen, so the angles are not shown as drawn. Hopefully you'll get the "picture". I'll try to simplify it here again.

Sure would like a reply to my query re: Vinyl liner for concrete pool.
Should the liner fit "tight" into all "corners/angles which are 90 degs. Mine does not ie., all are rounded (coved) to about 6" radius. My supplier told me liners should not de fitted tightly as there should be some "play" in the liner. HELP!!
