    Default Vacuuming to Waste

Just removed the nice new safety cover to reveal the nasty pond. I have been vacuuming to waste and the pump basket cloggs very quickly. Is it alright to pull the pump basket out while I vacuum, or is that a bad idea?

Nevermind, I think that is a bad idea.

Yup, it's a bad idea for now because you want all that stuff to clog the basket, not your pump impeller.
