    Default Losing sand when backwashing

Recently I have noticed that after I backwash there is sand on the driveway by the drain pipe, it has only happened since I opened this year. What could be causing this? is my filter all done? Thanks

Probably not to worry. You do get churning and will lose a little each time as Watermom said. I always see a little in the sight glass.
