    Default low pressure problem

I just replace the DE in my filter. I might have clog some sort of suction line with the DE. Everything was fine before the DE filter cleaning.
    Here are my diagnostic:

    1) zero pressure...change filter gauge already
    2) with the booster pump running, i get no water on the return line
    3) with the booster pump off...i get some water return.
    4) closing the MD or the skimmer valve one at a time...does not make a different on the pressure
    5) took apart the DE filter...and clean it all out..still no pressure
    6) saw some bubles from one of the return line
    7) water will bleed a little bit from the filter than stop completely....not water coming out of the bleeder valve with the pump running.
    8) 100% sure...it;s not the pump....because it was running OK before the cleaning.

    Welcome to the forum!

Any chance you closed a valve on the return side or left the multiport in "closed"?

If not, I'd suspect a clogged impeller - but that doesn't quite fit

    The valve are open....

I have not check the impeller on the pump. Can DE actually block the impeller from spinning? DE is so fine that i dont see it blocking the impeller.

It's not going to be DE. There is no setting where DE transits the pump unless something is seriously misconnected. How much did you dismantle to do the cleaning?

If you have an MPV set it to Waste. This will tell you if problem is in filter/returns (if you get good flow to Waste) or pump/suction lines/MPV (no flow to Waste).

I may be a noob here but I have been at this a long time.

i pull out one grid at a time...spray it and reinstall in the exact same spot.

By waste...i figure you mean backwash...it seem like it backwash OK...I can see dirt floating thru the clear glass. My backwash go directly to city sewer..so i can't see how much flow.

what i dont get is that....
when i turn on the booster pump to the polaris...i see no water at the return lines....with booster pump off...i see some water returns....
