Liner is in, spent all night with hose running to fill it, am aiming water level for a piece of duct tape he put on the wall in the shallow end. When it reaches that level (in the next hour or so), they come back and cut in the stairs, skimmer, eyeball, and replace the plates. They took my stairs with them yesterday to completely clean them. The kids are already begging me to let them swim this weekend! Will try to get a pic when hubby gets home this evening..........

Liner job is completed, stairs cleaned all bright and shiny, eyeballs, new plates, etc put on, filling the rest of the way now. I replaced the spider gasket in my multiport, replaced and topped off the zeosand in my filter, water temp is roughly 74 degrees. Just waiting to get enough water in the pool to start the pump............Yay!!! Looks like we're swimming this weekend!! Total cost, $2450.00, included liner with 10 year warranty, smoothing surface on floor, cleaning of steps, new eyeball and skimmer plates, and installation of all. First day took approximately 6 hours, second day approx. 6 hours, skipped yesterday because pool was still filling, then approximately 2 hours this morning to do steps and returns. All in all, it was much more painless than I thought, and it's gorgeous!!

Yay Janet!
I've never priced a new liner install here but your cost sounds reasonable and affordable. I know it'll stick in my mind when the time comes for us to replace ours.
And your water is 74 F already! That's excellent. You WILL be swimming this weekend. We have another month to go here but I'll be thinking of you in your new pool.
