    There are water pillows that I've seen mentioned on this site from others who cover their pools in the winter. If I'm not mistaken, the "pillows" float on top of the water to hold the cover up to keep it from sagging. You might want to search the site for the term "pillows" or "water pillows" and in the meantime I'll see if I can find some of the older posts regarding them.
