    Default Floating ants/bugs/flies

So my pool is 15x30 rectangle in so. Florida. No matter how many hours I run my pump or how many times a day I skim the pool, there is constantly tiny black bugs floating on the top of water. they are 2 small for my net to remove but I’m looking for a permanent solution rather than to net each day with a sock over the net.

I heard of the skimmer sock but my barracuda is plugged into my skimmer, there must be another add-on solution to this problem other than net a lot before you swim with a sock on the net.

Any help & ideas are appreciated

We have problems with the winged ants anytime there's a rainstorm.....I just leave either a pool noodle or one of those cloth balls floating in the pool overnight. The bugs climb up on it, and I just pull the whole noodle out of the pool in the morning, put it in the grass, and spray it with bug spray. Works pretty well for us.........
