I need some opinions on solar heating systems.

The facts:

We presently have a heat pump that is on it's last legs and will need to be replaced by something next season.

We presently open our pool the first week in May, let the heat pump have about 8-10 days to heat it up and use it from mid May to early September

We live I Indianapolis

Our pool is an IG 40x20 with 800 sq ft of surface area.

We have a barn roof next to the pool that has a perfect southern exposure, receives sun from about 10-6 and is 9 x 16 which would allow the installation of 4 4 x 8 panels.

We like the pool to be around 86-87 degrees minimum.

So is it doable or do we start looking at a new heat pump?
