    Default pebble tec

Our pool is about 5 years old now... or is it six? Our Tahoe Blue pebble tec is really gray now... has anyone else had it fade so much? I wish I would have gone with the sandy color....

I have Tahoe Blue pebble tec as well. It is going on 5 years old. The only problem I have had with discolor was that I was not doing a good job of stirring the salt around when I put it in the pool. Therefore, I had some brown streaking stains. This spring, I drained the pool...Yikes! Acid washed the pebble tec with a 50% water and 50% Muratic Acid mixture. Looks brand new again. The worst part of it was that I had to refill the pool and start over on pool chemistry but it only took a couple of days and everthing was fine. The acid washing was simple and not that expensive (acid, water, and a strong brush/broom). Only took 3 or 4 hours to do.

So, I am not sure about your graying problem. But mine is fine.
