Problem with preassure gauge on the sand filter

I have inground pool with sand filter. Problem is that my gouge that shows preassure keeps getting broke. Always the same way - I install new gauge, I can see that there is some vibration on the sand filter and it kind of vibrates. After about a week or more gauge starts to show more and more preassure. if I turn the pump off, then I can see that gauge shows not value 0, but 5-10 and it grows with time. After some time gauge shows value at the very end of the circle. I tried professional gauges, walmart gauges and finally give up and know do not have any working gauge.

What can be wrong? Is this because my sand filter vibrates a bit? I don't have any other problems with pool. But I hate running pump without knowing preassure.

That vibartion you talk about, is it the gauge needle that is just bouncing a lot or the whole filter. Can't understand why the latter would be happening. If the needle is bouncing a lot then the gear inside is probably wearing prematurely. Next question would be why the pressure variation or vibration. Can you hear bubbles kicking around in the filter? The needle should be pretty steady in normal operation.
