Default will stabilizer poured directly into pool hurt the liner?

I think I did something dumb.

I didn't read that the stabilizer should be added to the skimmer. I poured about a cup or two directly into the pool. It's a 13.7k AGP. I added it yesterday afternoon and there is still quite a bit laying on the bottom of the pool. I have tried using a broom and stirring it up but there's still some that hasn't dissolved yet.

    Unfortunately I don't have a vacuum yet.

Have I ruined or weakened the liner?

I bought the CYA at Lowe's, it's just plan CYA, Dupont brand.
    24' x 52" AGP = 13.5k gallons

I wouldn't leave it in place too long as it is very acidic. Try vacuuming. that should get it into the filter where it can dissolve harmlessly.

Until you are able to vacuum, you could just sweep it around with a brush as often as possible until it dissolves, but it can take up to several days to completely dissolve. Actually, the more you move it around, the quicker it should dissolve.
