adding dpd powder to my test kit

I have a taylor 2005 test kit. I believe it includes all of the tests that the 2006 has with the exception of the dpd powder.

Can I just buy the dpd powder in the link above and use what is in the 2005 kit?

Do you just use the powder, in pool water? How much water do you use?

You need the DPD powder, R-0870-I, the FAS-DPD titrating reagent, R-0871-A, and a sample tube for mixing that has 10 ml and 25 ml markings (which you already have, though its harder to swirl in that tube -- it's designed for capping and mixing).

You can order these individual components from Taylor as linked to above, or online from SPS here for DPD powder, here for FAS-DPD titrating reagent. You can also order the FAS-DPD portion of the TF100 test kit here from tftestkits.net with this latter kit having 36% more volume of reagents as the others listed above, though you also get a sample tube and R-0003 reagent (for CC testing, but you already have that reagent) or can get individual pieces here.
