Hey folks

I've got a 20-30 year old concrete deck for my 18X36 in-ground vinyl pool. Being so old, it really needs to be spruced up. I'm considering all my options and budget is a factor.

One way to spruce it up that I am considering is to lay pavers on top of the concrete (with fabric and sand in between). But doing so will cause clearance issues with my coping. The pavers will be an inch or so higher than the coping. What can I do to alleviate this problem? Can I somehow raise the coping? Can I replace the coping with a coping that sits higher? Currently the coping appears to be made of a fiber glass material, maybe I can replace it with a stone coping that sits higher?

What can I do? What are my options for the coping if I go this route?

Thanks a ton!
