If the liner is more than one season old, I'm not sure you're going to be able to remount it, because the part that is above water may not be as stretchable as the part that's been under water, which may rip it when you refill the pool. Also, with the temps as chilly as they still are, getting the liner to warm up enough to stretch may also be a problem. However, I'm not the liner expert, so hopefully one will chime in here pretty quickly.

I have no idea if you can fix this but if you need to soften and stretch the liner you can spray hot water on it. Some people have used hair dryers but with hot water there is less chance of melting it and you can cover a larger area more evenly. If you can get a garden hose on a hot water tap, that's easiest. Otherwise you can use a garden sprayer or just pour it on somehow.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the Ideas!!!!!!So it is fixable.? The liner is more than i season old. It is still cold out here in NW indiana so the liner is not to strechy. will it be ok to wait till it gets warmer to remount? or will it be too late by then. About 6 more weeks till consistant warm weather( I hope).

Looks to be a beaded liner. There are some tips and tricks in the stickie at the top of this section. Are those the only 2 sections?

If you can get the center of each section in, the rest will go in easier If you have to work from the edges to the center, watch out for blisters and that you pull the liner STRAIGHT! up or you could end up with extra liner (too much to get in the track) when you get to the middle!

If you are having any trouble when it comes time to get the liner back in place, post it here and we'll help as we can

OK, so the liner came loose on more than half of the pool wall, and about 3" of water is in the pool now, about 2/3 of the pool has water on the pool floor. Pool is(obviously) not level. The other 1/3 has no water. Can I still remount the liner and use it? Or should we replace it? Really don't have the $$$ for new liner hope we still can use it. Thank you again.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No way to tell. Only thing is to try and if it's destroyed you're no worse off.
