The electrical box at my pool has one of those funky receptacles for my pump cord. I just replaced my pump and the new cord has the typical 3 prong plug. I am moderately handy and need to know would it be better to change the cord on the pump, or change the receptacle in the electric box. I am leaning toward changing the receptacle. I would appreciate any advice from people who have done this.
