Default I need to get a new Pool Cover

Where are some places to buy winter covers from these days? I'm interested in a decent price, but most interested in a reputable dealer.

Here's a picture of the cover that I've used in the past. It's worn out and full of holes, so I need a new one. I have an above ground pool, patially buried into the ground, with a deck on one side. The pool is 18' x 36'.

I have a lot of problems with leaves - being under or near 5 oak trees. It's always a chore to get the water-leaf-tree trash mixture off of the top of the cover - it weighs so much - before I can manage to get the cover off over the sides of the pool - even when using a pump to get as much of the water off as possible.

I've had problems opening the last couple of year to very nasty water, although I've always been able to clean it up. I believe that I've usually closed too early (mid to late October) or opened too early (sometime in April) for the Dallas area - I'm assuming that the water temp has been above the mid to lower 60's in these cases. I'm going to monitor the water temperature closer this year. Of course, it can get pretty warm in the middle of the winter here sometimes ...

Is the cover that I've been using acceptable, or are there different, better covers? Thanks ...

Question I need to get a new Pool Cover too

I know this is an old post, but I have the same problem, same question. Any suggestions for leaves, pecans, branches, etc? I have to buy a new cover and don't know which kind to buy.

I know these are old questions but I'm wondering what you ended up doing. Did you use a regular winter cover then a leaf cover?
