    Pollen does cause a green tint, but if you live in an area where you got any of the fallout from Ike, there may be other stuff in your pool that's causing the problem, too. As Waste and Lisa requested, go ahead and post a set of test numbers and I'm sure we can help you clear it up.

    I've pretty much convinced myself that chlorine added to water with a highish iron content will give the false impression of an algae bloom. I saw it happen several times in my pool here in the country, till I learned to add water into the skimmer to be filtered thru the DE first.
