Default Blowing Out Lines- Fall Closing of Pool

It is time to close the inground pool and we use a shop vac to blow out the lines.

I can never remember the setting to use on the sand filter to accomplish this. We usually blow air through the backwash line coming out of the filter.

Can someone remind me where to set the lever on the top of the filter to blow out the lines?

    Thank You

We have a multi-port and set it to "Filter" on ours.
