AG vs IG Pool Pump

Whats the difference?

My Dura-glas pump failed and I figure its time to replace the pump as well as the motor. IG pool 1 HP.

Came across this pump on ebay.
Anyone know who makes it?
What should I watch out for?



Dura-glas pumps are the most expensive as far as I can tell.

I decided to take the plunge on this.

It's made by Neiko Tools USA (C.M.T. Industrial) and despite no specifications online or even any website for Neiko tools.........at less than 1/3 the cost of every other pump out there I decided to risk it.

I'll report back how it performs for me.
