    Default Question re Solar Covers

I bought a solar cover and reel this summer but just installed it now due to the cooling nights. I have a 28' AG. When I roll the cover up in the morning, do I just leave it rolled up and suspended over the pool, or when rolled up should it be removed from the pool. My concern is the weight on the top rail/walls. Due to the length of the cover, when the cover is rolled up, there is sagging in the middle of the tube.

Hi Ken, most people would leave the cover suspended over the pool unless you are expecting a lot of pool use. They are kind of a pain to remove the the weight should not hurt the top rails.

The mounting brackets are best mounted as close as possible to an upright. The rails are much stronger there.
