Turnover Etiquette: When you sell your home

I think if it is in your budget, leave the brushes, nets, etc. there and get new ones at your new place. I would take any chems and especially any bleach with you, but leave a list of what they'll need and what it's for. Orient them well to your "baby", and leave the PoolForum link!!

If its not attached to the structure you are under no obligation to leave anything. If you are going to need the stuff why leave it? Would you also consider leaving your dishes as the new owners will likely need dishes - probably not.

In a home sale, everything's negotiable--we got stuck buying a washer/dryer twice--when we sold our last house the W/D and basement fridge was part of the deal--but not the kitchen fridge. So that fridge has been in our garage for 11 years as the second fridge (soda, milk, wine, BEER! ). But we had to buy a W/D for the new house. That's just how it goes.

Everything's negotiable.

Just a suggestion. You might also want to leave them a link to a forum where they can register and ask questions that might pop up. You all KNOW how vauable that might be to them.
