    Default Built in spa question

I have an in ground pool and spa. When I turn on the spa by changing the Jandy inlet and return valves, water comes out of the air pipe for the jets. I have no idea where to look. I have changed one check valve. I have two on the return side and one on the inlet side. Could it be one of these other check valves?

    Thank you

    Jim

It's poosible that some of you spa jet nozzles are blocked inside the jets. If the jets are plastic....there should be a clip that holds them in. Once the clip is out....the jets can be inspected for debris. Some jets the clip doesn't come all the way out.....you just have to pry the end of the clip at the tab with a screwdriver while pulling out the jet. Also.....check that you don't have too many jets turned off.....that could be also causing the problem. Hope this helps. Check that first before removing any jets.

Are you sure that you aren't actually turning the spa jet returns oof when you are manipulating valves. This would explain water shooting out the blower line as there would be not other place to go, assuming the pool returns are off as well.
