If you can get 3" for not much more than 2" pipe then do it as it will have almost no pressure drop. As for black PVC I don't think I have seen that, but why not just use white pipe and paint it black yourself.

Yes I had thought of painting as well.
My main concern is the pump. Will I be putting a strain on it or should I purchase a bigger one. (more HP)
"Strain" is not really an issue with a pump. As long as it has enough head to initial get water flowing through the panels you really should not have a problem. I would not pre-buy a bigger pump. Try the one you have and you can always upgrade it if need be. To install a bigger pump if not needed will just cost you money for a pump and higher electric bills.
