I am planning on installing a solar heater at the rear of my pool. This run is about 60' away from my pump so my pump would have to move water and extra 120' (plus the solar heater). All equipment and pool is on level ground.
Do I need to be concerned about the HP of my pump?
Should I be concerned about straining my pump?
Should I run 3" pipe to the solar panel or is 2" ok? The fittings on the solar panel are 2".
The reason for locating the solar heater at the rear is sunlight. I get full sunlight there.
I also hope to find black PVC to run to the heater because it can help heat the water.
