I would only get one with a metal frame and standard caged bearings. I had a plastic framed one, and when it broke I found the reason it was hard to crank was it had hollow plastic roller bearings and they had broken and locked it up.

Also a 3" or more center is better than a 1-1 1/2" center.

If you have a deck around your A/G, then an I/G roller works--that's what I have .

That's my main complaint about the Rocky's; there aren't really bearings. They're just plastic bushings that they tell you to use some waterproof grease on. If it's too tough to crank they tell you to back off the center bolt holding the crank to the roller, but there's no lock washer or anything to keep the bolt from eventually loosening up and falling out.

But the frames and crank are metal and the tube they can provide is a pretty light weight, but rigid one.
