Does Algaecide 60 affect ORP reading on SWG?

I am aware that certain chemicals do give a false reading, is this one of them?

Thank you to any who reply.

I don't think there's anything in a quarinary algacide that would cause problems with ORP controllers. You may see a temporary fluctuation as soon as you add it, but it should balance back out once it's cycled through and diluted.

I have observed the PolyQuat 60% in large amounts (like a quart) WILL drop FC significantly--as much as 10ppm or more over 24-48 hours. If the ORP sensor is reading FC then it may well read that drop. However, unless you add more PolyQuat, once you raise your FC again it won't drop again (from the Poly).
