    Default Autopilot Mounting (Waterproof ?)

Is the Autopilot considered an outdoor or indoor unit? The installation instructions say to practically avoid water. In South Florida I don't see how you do this. If there is a crack in the case it is going to fill…

I was planning on placing the autopilot where my analog timer was located (On the side of the home) but now I am not sure if this is possible.

Has anyone had problems mounting a unit outdoors and having rain do it in?

I installed my Autopilot last summer next to the pump and timer. Covered it for the winter with a plastic bag. No problems, hooked it up myself the unit is sealed pretty well.
