Just removed cover after first winter...
on our above ground pool. Although I made a stupid mistake and let a lot of the debris fall in, all in all, I was very happy. Pool was pretty much clear. Hooked up my DE filter etc and have now cleaned out the bottom with my pool rover (not acting right though) and been running the filter. After 1.5 days the pool is crystal clear with only a few pebbles on the bottom which I will get when the water warms up.
Thanks to this forum, my first year looks to have been a big success
