    Default Reducing chlorine level

I accidentally dumped too much bleach into my spa. Even after 3 days
my reading is off the scale (dark orange color as opposed to shade of yellow).
Is there any chemical I can use to lower the amount of free chlorine?

Thumbs up Re: Reducing chlorine level

Hey - there is a chemical called thiosulfate which neutralizes excess chlorine (it's the chem you add to the 25ml water sample when testing for TA with the 3 reagent test) It's a little costly , but I suppose that's better than having a bunch of sweaty, dirty people come in and use the spa to reduce the cl. Any chance of giving the spa a good dose of direst sunlight?

Hope this helps somewhat - if you have further questions - ask away
