Just opened pool for spring, test result questions

One thing the pool lady said was that CYA at high levels has been known to possibly cause some health effects. Any truth to that? I live in Ky and supposedly the public pools are not allowed to use the stabilizer. CYA

With a CYA of 90, a chlorine level of 3 isn't going to be enough--you need to up it to at least 5.
