I have a Starite Max E Therm 200 k btu natural gas heater that makes a really annoying resonating whining sound. I've been working on diagnosing it and have narrowed it down to the airflow through the suction side of the heating blower. When the cover is on the heater it makes the noise, as soon as I remove the cover the noise goes away. I can replicate it by partially obstructing the suction side of the blower with my hand and the sound comes back, as soon as I move my hand away the sound goes away.
Any suggestions on what to do, or has someone experienced this before?
Thanks in advance.
