Default Taylor DPD scoop smaller, how much to use?

Just got Taylor DPD power refill and it has a blue scoop that seems about half the size of the one I got in the kit. How much of the DPD power should be used? I scoop from the kit? Will the readings be off if too much or too little poweder is used?

I am questioning this because when I purchased the DPD powder I had them test my pool water and their test came out twice as high as mine did from the same sample. My reading was 5.5 and theirs was 10.

I was told by Taylor that you add 1 scoop and should tirn red if there is FC in your water, No magic just add enough to turn the water red is what was instructed to me

I was confused also with different sized scoop, as the blue Taylor scoop seemed about 1/2 the size of my original white scoop. I performed FC test using one scoop, then doubled. Results came back the same for each test.

That's correct. Once it turns deep pink/red adding more makes no difference.
