    Who is saying this? The water isn't in contact with the steel, sound silly to me. "special liner" for a SWG sounds like pool store speak to soak you for more money. SWG's are getting very popular around here and no special liners are used. Gunite pools are very rare as well as the season is only about 4 months.

    This is what I was thinking. I never had a problem with my SWG in my last pool causing any problems with any of the metals in any of the accessories in the pool. Just trying to jack me for some more money because I'm trying to save money. With the exclusion of the concrete work, electrical and plumbing. All I need is someone to setup the pool frame and finish the bottom and install the liner. i just don't see why this has to be such a hard job to find someone to do it.
