    Default sanding your plaster

Is sanding your plaster worth the cost? We are in the process of a complete re-pour(long story). The previous jobs plaster had small waves and seemed rough, especially at night with a light on it. This is not the reason for the redoBTW. Is sanding a norm?

There is only so much the plasters can do to create a even pool, take into consideration that the entire pool is Hand troweled not machined in anyway, but if its really bad and you would like to fix that i don't see any harm in sanding it, just start at the deep end of the pool so that its less noticable and where you have less of a chance to make skin contact. Perform it at a low grit and as you remove the waves go to a higher grit. Let me know the outcome.

Sanding plaster is most common with Hydrazzo, Durazzo and some pebble plasters. Its considered an up grade that leaves a very smooth surface. Only you can decide if its worth it.
